The Scientific Committee of the 8th Congress of the Spanish Society of Ecological Agriculture (SEAE) will be holding their 4th Latin American Conference on Agroecology. The theme will be “Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Rural Development”. The conference will be held in Bullas, Spain on September 16-20, 2008. The objectives of this conference are:

• To exchange knowledge about existing studies recognizing the benefits of ecological agriculture
• To analyze some of the aspects influencing the development of the organic sector and the need for more research in some fields
• To propose actions for further development of agroecology and ecological agriculture

Comité Científico del VIII Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Agricultura Ecológica SEAE/IV Congreso Iberoamericano de Agroecologia, que bajo el lema "Cambio climático, Biodiversidad y Desarrollo Rural Sostenible" se celebrara en Bullas, Murcia, 16-20 septiembre de 2008 en la Casa de Cultura de Bullas sita en la Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Bullas.

Los objetivos perseguidos en este Congreso son:

• Intercambiar el conocimiento existente de los beneficios de la AE
• Analizar los aspectos que condicionan el desarrollo del sector y la necesidad de investigar otros campos
• Proponer acciones para el desarrollo de la AAE
